About Us

Nene Tereza was set-up to facilitate and advance the training, education and inclusion of the Albanian community in North London. Our aim is to promote and maintain the Albanian culture, language, customs and traditions for families and generations to come.

Established in September 2007 as a result of the increasing number of Albanian young people becoming underachievers, unemployed, school drop outs, gang members/involvement and offenders. These young people come from poor Albanian and Kosovo families living in the deprived neighbourhoods of our targeted Boroughs Haringey, Enfield, Islington, Barnet, Barking and Dagenham To date we have worked with 3500 community members

Our work will enable more people to fulfil their potential by working to address issues at the earliest possible stage. Our continuous contact with the community has enabled us to know at first hand when things are not working well, and together we find meaningful ways of resolving issues.

Nene Tereza is led by a highly qualified and experienced team of Directors
